Havak Pro Hunter PH1

These rifles are built to order.

The Professional Hunter has arrived. With its bead blasted finish, ProComp stock and match grade 5R barrel the Havak PH1 is ready to hit the field

The Havak action has a full diameter bolt and 4 locking lugs with 90 degree bolt throw. The bolt lugs when locked in battery are oriented at 3 and 9 o'clock. This is different from the typical 12 and 6 o'clock positioning that places the bottom lug directly behind the feed ramp where there is very little material in the action. Our Havak bolt design allows for a generous feed ramp situating the bolt lugs in the strongest area of the action.

Every Havak Precision Hunter is hand bedded with aluminum pillars perfectly pairing the stock to its action and free floating barrel.

The PH1 comes with a 3-5 round carbon fiber magazine (caliber dependent), ProComp stock, Timney 510 trigger factory set at 3-3.5 lbs and a spiral fluted barrel threaded 5/8-24 for a suppressor or muzzle brake. Each rifle is meticulously hand built, inspected and test fired with factory match ammo.

Excellent little rifle

by Brent

The first 125 shots through my Havak 6.5 CM have shown me that the Hornady Precision hunter 143 ELD-X are half MOA and commonly better. The velocity of 143 Precision Hunters jumped from 2670 to 2745 fps after 75 rounds. For handloads, my rifle prefers handloaded Hornady 147 ELD Match bullets. I have achieved three 1/4 MOA five shot loads with the 147 with three different powders and minimal load development.

H4831SC/Fed 210M velocity unknown
H4350/CCI 400 2640 fps
RL26/Fed 210M 2770 fps

I'm also about a .005" seating depth adjustment from achieving .2 MOA with 143 the 143 ELD-X and H4350 with a CCI 400. I am very pleased with what I'm seeing with this rifle.

HAVAK is a hammer

by Eric

I was concerned about not having an accuracy garuntee but after the very first group out of the gun the anxiety lifted. First group with the 143 gr ELD-x precision hunters was inside 3/8's of an inch and would have been better if the wind wasn't blowing the bench around. Followed that group of with two more basically 1 hole 5 shot groups. Tried some berger handloads as well and was well under an inch but not quite as good as the factory Hornady's. Gun cycled nice and didn't get as hot as I thought it would either. I have the muzzle brake on the way and can't wait to get it back out to the range.

1/4" MOA out of the box!!

by ANdy A.

What a beautiful rifle!! Excellent fit and finish, very lightweight package, great 2lb trigger pull, and wow does it shoot. I easily pulled 1/4" moa shooting factory loaded Hornady 143gr eld-x bullets @ 100 yds suppressed. as a side note, the magpul hunter stock needs longer and countersunk screws to fit and I'm not sure if the dbm will work or not. I opted to keep the OEM stock because of weight and the availability of an adjustable Kydex cheek riser online. my only complaint is the lack of an adjustable stock for lop & cheek height from the factory, otherwise, I'm very pleased with my purchase. great job again seekins!!
