  • Q: How do I order from Seekins Precision?
A: You can place a order by filling out the online order form here. Or by phone. Payment can be in the form of a personal check, money order, or credit/debit card. We will also be listing stocking dealers that you can order through as well.

  • Q: How is a warrantee handled if a problem arises?
A: Seekins Precision will warrantee any components for just about any reason. If you back over your rifle with a tractor, chances are you will be taken care of. It doesn't matter if you are the original purchaser or not. Our products are covered.

  • Q: What is a 20moa base?
A: A 20moa base is a scope base with a forward sloping angle built in that allows you to zero your scope at 100yds without wasting your elevation travel in your scope.

  • Q: Do I need a 20moa base?
A: It depends on how far you plan to shoot, but I would recommend a 20moa base over a flat base. With a 20moa base you can comfortably get a 100yd zero and you will have 20moa more adjustment to use in your scope.

  • Q: How do you install a base and what Torque specs do you recommend base screws?
A: To install the base make sure all contacting surfaces are clean and free of burrs. Sometimes receivers will have a burr around the screw hole. If a burr is present remove it or your base won't fit down onto the action properly. Install the base by setting it on the action and pushing forward until the recoil lug solidly contacts the action. Tighten screws to 15 INCH lbs. holding onto the short end of an L shaped wrench while tightening will assure you won't over tighten the base.

Blue loctite can be used if you like. Instead of applying the loctite to the threads I have found that applying it around the screw head after the screws are installed works just as good. The loctite works its way down into the first few threads allowing easier removal in the future. Also apply a small amount of loctite on the surfaces that contact between the base and action. This will help keep out any moisture.
DO NOT USE RED LOCTITE ON ANY THREADS THAT YOU MAY WANT TO REMOVE IN THE FUTURE!

  • Q: What height scope rings do I need?
A: At this time it is best to call and we will be more than happy to get you set up properly. We are working on a database to determine proper height and will post it as soon as it is available. We will need to know your scope objective size, tube size and barrel size. All decisions will be made assuming a Buttler Creek flip up cap will be used.

  • Q: Where can I find documentation on the Detachable Mag System?
