RPR Upgrade

Got one of these for my 5.56 Ruger Precision Rifle. Excellent fit and finish. Installs easily enough for this low-monobrow, knuckle-dragging trigger slapper to install in about 10 minutes. When shooting the RPR, I rest my right thumb on the right side selector and can cycle the bolt very quickly from the 60 deg throw position of the short lever.

have one on my gap10 also and Like it enough to be looking for a FDE version for my AR10.

Man i love love love Seekins Precision products. Typically theyre a bit more expensive then other manufacturers products but they are well worth it. I had my first encounter with Seekins a couple years ago when i decided to build my dream AR/M4 and had decided to go with a side charge upper and had to find the perfect high end lower to mate to it, and the Seekins sp223 was the perfect match in an amazing custom high end ambi receiver that has so many features built into it. So when i saw this new ambi safety selector set in several pretty colors i had to have it. I had a much more expensive Battle Arms Development ambi safety set, $90.00 for the BAD set and this set is only $39.99 so i ordered it. I was surprised there were no instructions or an allen wrench for the screws, but i had that covered. When it got here i could tell it was good quality.

I wasnt sure if it was the 60 degree short throw set or the 90 degree set, so i installed it and it was the standard or long throw set but the receipt said 60 degree short throw lever set so i pulled it and took a closer look at it and at the other end on the opposite side was a second detent Groove that was just a little shorter then the standard detent Groove, so i figured that had to be the short throw end so i reinstalled it and sure enough it was the short throw 60 degree end and it works great. Im not sure how well i am going to like the short throw setting so ill have to give it a little time and take it and try it a few times and see how it feels?

As for the quality its every bit as good as the BAD ambi safety set, i love the color and just wish they made a matching extended mag release like the Odin works button, but it looks great and fits really great and has a nice crisp positive feedback with a solid click when engaged or disengaged, and if i end up not liking the 60 degree short theow set i can easily flip it over and go back to the long throw setting, this safety set works great and looks even better. I went with the red set and have to say that it looks great and works as good as the BAD set thats twice as much.... Love it and plan on building another side charge AR and will use as many seekins products as i can for the new build.... These guys make amazing products.

I decided to get a Seekins AMBI Safety to include in the Seekins Lower Receiver build I was completing. Installed it but totally brain dumped the 60/90 option I have with this safety. Installed and tested it; worked fine...IF you want short throw safety! I took the safety out, reversed the switches..etc, etc. I now have a very nice 90 degree ambi safety! I like the fact that I do have an option without the expense of buying another safety and the price is pretty good, considering you are getting seekins quality.

AMBI Safety

This Safety is top quality and in my opinion worth the price. I ordered the red one to use on custom 3 gun build and was pleased with the quality. Mine came set up for 60 degree throw and it is visually apparent that you can switch it to 90 degrees by installing it in a certain direction. the trigger did not come with any instructions, but if you are an avid gun builder you will notice how you can flip it around for the desired 60 or 90 degree rotation.
This is pricey, but if you look at other ambi safety kits with these options you will pay more. Combine this with the trigger guard and add some flare to you gun.
